This is a Pioneer LD-V43000 laser disc player from around the early 90s. I got this unit from an old electronics collector whom was giving away unwanted stuff. The player is a bit beaten up on the casing but it's fully functional, only had to bend back a bar on the inside of the machine to fix the ejecting problem. I got a few discs with it which are scratched real bad, they contain educational programs in NTSC format on JCL programming dating 1984 and 1987. The play okay, though one screwed up bad near the end as the disc was too scratched. Anyways laser discs were the precurser to DVD with a max capacity of 1 hour of record time on each side. This player is also dual PAL/NTSC compatible.
